Acceptance

These terms and conditions apply to users of the Online Market Basket / Market Basket website. By using this website or placing an order from this website you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.

This website and all content including but not limited to the images and logos is owned and operated by Online Market Basket / Market Basket and is not to be copied, adapted, reproduced, distributed, published or altered in any way without written consent from Online Market Basket / Market Basket.

Online Market Basket / Market Basket may have information, links or references to other websites, products and so forth. We do not own, control, authorise or endorse those products and do not accept any responsibility or liability for the information, products or content of those websites or products.

Pricing
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars and include GST. Prices exclude freight and handling, this is listed separately. Your rate of shipping will be calculated at check-out, please contact us if you would like a quote over the phone.

The prices displayed on the website are only current at that particular point in time and we may change our prices at our discretion without prior notice.

Should price changes occur they will be updated on our website.

If you have committed to purchase a bulk purchase and this has been agreed upon by Online Market Basket / Market Basket, the price will remain fixed until transaction is complete.

Payment
You must pay for your products prior to shipment of goods. All orders must be accompanied with payment details. All orders will receive a Tax Invoice outlining the total fees and charges for the product/s ordered.

We accept:

  • Credit Card payments online with PayPal. We will need the card holders name, card number, expiry date and card verification number.
  • Direct Deposit to our account. All orders paid by direct deposit will not be released until the funds clear and we can verify the payment. Please reference the Invoice number and Surname for Direct Deposit payments. Contact us if you would like to utilise this method.
  • You can choose to pay from your Paypal account to ours following the steps as directed through the Paypal payment process.

If you choose to pay by credit card, you authorise us to debit the amount that is payable from your nominated credit card for an accepted order and expect there to be balance available to complete the transaction.

Filling Orders

We will endeavour to dispatch orders within 48 business hours for items shown as in stock. If an item is out of stock please contact us for expected delivery timeframes. Should an item be inadvertently shown as in stock and the order not available to be filled due to unforeseen circumstances Online Market Basket / Market Basket will contact you to offer a substitute, a new estimated time of delivery or potentially a refund to the value of the amount of the item unable to be filled at their discretion.

Delivery

The delivery fee and any subsequent re-delivery fees will apply to all orders and is non-refundable.

All orders are shipped from our South Australian office unless prior alternate arrangements are made. Delivery time will vary depending on your location. If appropriate and applicable, we will provide you will a tracking number so you can track your item.

Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee a date or time for delivery.

Please note that dependent on your chosen method of delivery it may require a signature. If choosing a method that requires this please specify an address where someone will be home or use a business address. If there’s no authorised person at the delivery address to sign the delivery driver may leave a card and the goods will be returned to the nearest depot for you to collect/redelivery.

As we regularly attend markets around South Australia, if you are located within South Australia and would like to discuss pick up at a market we are attending in your area please contact us.

We make every attempt to dispatch and deliver goods within the estimated timeframe however please be aware that delays may occur due to factors beyond our control. Online Market Basket / Market Basket will not be liable for any delay or inability to deliver your order within the estimated timeframes.

Damaged goods

Online Market Basket / Market Basket does not accept any responsibility for items damaged in transit. On receipt of items please ensure you open your parcel and check all items are included and undamaged. If your order appears damaged contact Online Market Basket / Market Basket within 48 hours. You may be asked to include photos and details of damage.

Online Market Basket / Market Basket does not accept any responsibility for missing or damaged items. Please take this into consideration when choosing an appropriate method for postage and consider whether you would like tracking included etc.

Returns / Exchanges / Warranty

Items may be returned to Online Market Basket / Market Basket within 14 days if the product is faulty or not as promised for a refund of the purchase price. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds if you change your mind. We reserve the right to assess returned product/s prior to offering a repair, product replacement/equivalent product or refund. You must provide a copy of your Invoice.

We do not cover parts or fabric for malicious damage or if you have negligently damaged the product.

Process for Returns

You can return faulty item/s to us with the following steps:

  • Contact Online Market Basket / Market Basket via phone.
  • Send us an email with your order number and the reason of return to [email protected]
  • You will be issued with a Return Authority Number (RA). To ensure your return can be processed please include the RA number and a copy of your Invoice with the return package.
  • Once we receive and assess the returned item and it has been deemed to be faulty we will send a replacement/equivalent product, repair or refund at their discretion.
  • The customer will incur the freight cost of returning the item to Online Market Basket / Market Basket (payable prior to collection) however should the item be deemed faulty, Online Market Basket / Market Basket will refund these monies and arrange for replacement/equivalent product, repair or refund at their discretion.

Online Market Basket / Market Basket will gladly arrange a refund or exchange of a product if:

  •    The product proves faulty within 14 days of receiving the product based on date of invoice
  •    The product does not match its description as provided when sold
  •    The product received is not the product ordered

Please contact us immediately if any of the above occurs to arrange a return.

Please ensure that returned products are packed appropriately and where possible in the original packaging.

Refunds will be issued as required by the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cwth) and Sale of Goods Act 1958 (Vic). No part of these terms is to be taken as an express or implied repudiation of our obligations under these pieces of legislation.

Order Cancellations

Your order may be cancelled if it has not been shipped. Please contact us immediately via phone should you wish to cancel your order. If your order has been dispatched please see our Returns / Exchanges / Warranty section.

Should a product become unavailable, if there is an error in the price or product description or there is a breach of our terms and conditions Online Market Basket / Market Basket may need to cancel your order. We will endeavour to find a solution acceptable to you as the customer. Should this happen we will contact you immediately and keep you informed throughout the process. If a refund is issued it will be returned in the same way payment was collected.

Privacy

The information you supply will be solely used to process orders, respond to questions or address your needs. We do not share customer information.

You may access your personal information by contacting us.

Should you choose to receive specials, promotions, marketing materials, newsletters or similar from Online Market Basket / Market Basket you are able to opt out at any time by contacting us.
